Portraits around sunset are almost always worth protecting. Garda sunsets, especially in May, June and September, are genuinely extraordinary — warm, long, and unhurried. Build in 30–40 minutes of uninterrupted time with the couple during this window.
Evening light indoors at Garda venues tends to be warm and candlelit in a way that photographs well without flash. Later dinners (which is standard in Italy anyway) play to this naturally.
