HOW I SEE IT

A QUIET EYE

I grew up in the south of Germany, surrounded by slow landscapes and a deep sense of home.

Long before I ever held a camera, I was drawn to the moments that happen quietly. The kind you don’t notice right away — but remember for the rest of your life.

At eighteen, I photographed my first wedding. And fell in love with everything about it.

Today, more than ten years and 300+ weddings later, that feeling hasn’t changed. Not once.

I don’t see weddings as something to direct. I see them as something to understand.

What draws me in are the subtle things. A glance that stays a second longer. A small touch. The way two people are with each other when they forget I’m there.

At the same time, I care deeply about how things are composed. Light, space, the architecture of a moment. How everything comes together — naturally.

My work lives in that balance.
Honest and unforced. But always intentional.

HOW IT FEELS TO WORK WITH ME

Throughout the day, I stay calm. Focused. Quietly present.

I guide when it helps — but never more than necessary. There’s no pressure to pose. No constant direction. No feeling of being watched.

What I try to create is a sense of ease around you. So you can let go and just be there.

My couples often tell me afterwards that they barely noticed me. That everything felt natural. That the day simply unfolded — and somehow, I caught all of it.

That’s exactly how it should feel.

WHAT I VALUE

I won’t trade atmosphere for a technically perfect image.

If something feels forced — if it doesn’t reflect who you actually are — I’ll step back. Because what matters is not how it looks in the moment, but how it feels ten years from now.

I’m drawn to couples with a strong sense of who they are. Not in a loud or staged way. But in the details, the setting, the way they’ve thought things through.
People who know what matters to them.

And who value presence just as much as beauty.

APPROACH & COVERAGE

I usually work with a second photographer — because your day deserves to be seen from more than one angle.

This gives us more depth, more space, more room for moments to happen without anyone missing them.

Alongside digital, I often shoot on 35mm film. Not as a style choice, but because it adds something — a layer that’s a little more tactile, a little more lasting.

The intention behind it all is always the same:
an honest, cohesive visual story of your day.
